Natural body care products
Hello beauties! It’s been a long time since I uploaded any kind of posts. I decided to take a pause from NY lifestyle. I’m currently in Koh Samui, Thailand on the beautiful island living simple life, waking up early, observing nature, swimming in the ocean, meditating, enjoying delicious raw and vegan meals.
Today I wanted to share with you my body care routine and natural products I use.
Dry brush
Before I step into the shower, I dry brush my whole body using natural brush. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years now. I really like how stimulating it is and how effective this practice is for removing dead skin cells. There is a specific way to do this, and I recommend you search a video online how to proper dry brush your body.
Body scrub towel
I just discovered this awesome body scrub towel made of natural plant fabric by a Japanese brand Sasawashi. It’s antimicrobial, it dries really fast, it’s very pleasant when touches my skin and I love how natural it is. I’m a huge fan of everything Japanese because anything they do is always high quality with full attention to details.
Natural soap
I stopped using shower gels that come in big plastic bottles. Instead, I use natural soap. I found this brand Votano. They make their products in Bangkok. Since I’m in Thailand I do my best to buy local.
Body oil + shea butter
To moisturize my body after the shower I love to use jojoba oil by Amouriq and I usually mix into it a few drops of essential oils steam distilled. If I’m preparing to go to bed than I use relaxing essential oils such as Sleep Time by the same company Amouriq.
For areas where need extra care such as knees, elbows, heels, butt – I like to use shea butter or cocoa butter or both such as in this beautiful product by Nocha Natural which is a Thai brand high quality products. I love the souffle-like texture, it melts and observes really fast. Amazing!
And that’s pretty much it. I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope that you discovered something new for yourself and maybe even I inspired you to review your own products and to see how natural or not they are.
Sending love,
